  • Leek – 250 g
  • Vegetable oil – 70 ml
  • Salt – 15 g (2½ tsp)

Spices

  • Crushed caraway – 3 g (½ tsp)
  • Smoked paprika – 5 g (1 tsp)
  • Sweet paprika – 5 g (1 tsp)
  • Ground black pepper – 2 g (½ tsp)

Roasted tempeh (about 700 g finished)

  • Smoked tempeh – 700 g
  • Oil for frying – 40 ml

Beetroot and carrot salad (about 500 g)

  • Cooked beetroot – 300 g
  • Raw carrots – 200 g
  • Apple cider vinegar – 25 ml
  • Agave syrup – 15 ml (1 tbsp)
  • Ginger shot (or fresh ginger) – 20 ml (or 10 g grated)
  • Salt – 5 g (½ tsp)
  • Black pepper – 1 g (a pinch)

Method

Granadiersky pochod

  1. Cook the fliačky in salted water until tender, drain and rinse.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the finely chopped leek and sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the spices (caraway, paprika, black pepper) and let them bloom.
  4. Mix in the riced potatoes, stir, then add the cooked fliačky.
  5. Season with salt and fold gently so the flavors come together.

Tempeh

  1. Cut the tempeh into cubes and fry in oil until golden (about 6–8 minutes).
  2. You can add it straight into the granadiersky pochod or serve it separately on top.

Beetroot and carrot salad

  1. Grate the beetroot on a coarse grater and the carrots more finely.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar, agave syrup, ginger, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.

Serving

Plate 230 g of granadiersky pochod, 70 g of roasted tempeh and 50 g of beetroot salad. You can garnish with parsley leaves or chives.
