The July scent circle — the cooling wisdom of summer

Lemon balm, mints, basil and geranium — scents that refresh the body, calm the mind and open the heart. An intimate evening for women at Monáda.

Essential oils in a wooden crate among herbs — lemon balm, mint, lavender, thyme and rose geranium

Summer is in full swing. Nature is ripening, and the days are long and hot. Our bodies and minds, too, sometimes need to slow down for a moment, take a deep breath and find their inner calm.

At the July scent circle, we’ll explore plants that bring freshness, lightness and harmony.

Together we’ll smell

Lemon balm — a gentle scent of calm and of the heart. Different kinds of mint — and we’ll discover that each one has its own unique personality. Geranium — a scent that gently supports femininity, balance and a return to yourself.

It won’t be a lecture

It will be a space for sensing, sharing and discovering how each scent affects us. You may find that the scent you choose today reflects exactly what your body or soul needs right now.

At the end, each of you will take home your own fragrant keepsake, which will remind you of the atmosphere of the circle in the days that follow.

If you feel you need to give yourself a moment of your own, I’ll be glad to welcome you.

You don’t need to know anything. Or prove anything. Just come.
